Thank you Johnsonville Sausage for sponsoring this eggs in a mug recipe.
So, most people make New Year’s resolution every year like eat healthier, lose weight and make healthier choices. The problem is, unless you have a lot of determination or find a way to make the changes easier, most people last about 2 weeks before falling back into the same habits. If you are trying to make healthier choices, like eating breakfast every day, or if you are trying to lose weight or just eat healthier, this is a great recipe and tips for you.
One of the biggest reasons that people say they do not eat breakfast is that they don’t have time. With this eggs in a mug recipe you can have a healthy breakfast ready in about 5 minutes. The trick to having it ready in no time is using Johnsonville Fully Cooked Turkey sausage and pre cut veggies. Johnsonville Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage has 70% less fat than USDA data for cooked pork sausage, with 8 grams of protein, and has no filler and no MSG. Since the sausage is fully cooked, it can go from microwave to plate in 30 seconds. So even if you aren’t making this recipe, it makes a great breakfast choice. For the veggies, you can use any veggies you want to have in your eggs. To save time, cut them up ahead of time, or buy frozen pre-chopped veggies, like peppers and onions.
