I received a copy of Vegan Desserts in a Jar for review. All thoughts are my own.
With the new year here, I have been working on trying to get healthier. As part of losing weight, I am also trying to just make sure the food going into my body is healthier and cleaner. That does not mean I can manage to give up my dessert. I have tried before, but it only makes me go further off the deep end, the sugar deep end, anyway.
As part of eating healthier, I am trying to cut some of the animal fat out of my diet. The long and short of it is, it just isn’t good for my heart. Now I am not trying to go vegan, or even vegetarian, but I am trying to just do less meat or animal products. So when I was sent a copy of Vegan Desserts in a Jar, I was pretty excited to see what it was about. Desserts in jars are pretty popular right now and who doesn’t love a dessert that comes looking as good as it tastes.
Many of these desserts are classic. Lemon pudding, Peanut Butter Cups, Pumpkin Brulee, even little cream pies. They are very simple to make and of course they taste fantastic. It is a great way to make the desserts that you crave, just a tiny bit healthy, without leaving a healthy taste in your mouth.
