4th of July is always a favorite time around here. While I try to teach the kids the true spirit of the 4th, they see it as a fun day of picnics and fireworks. I can’t say that I blame them. Who doesn’t love a reason to hang out with friends and family and to watch fireworks.
This year I am adding something special to our cookout. I am making my favorite burgers. Ranch Burgers. Even people who do not love ranch, love these burgers. Using Litehouse Ranch dressing, these burgers take on a whole new level of flavor.
Because these burgers are so good, I want to make sure that I am using the best tasting ingredients I can. These are the go to burger and nothing less that fantastic will do. I want to make sure that my family is eating real food. I don’t like a lot of preservatives in the things that I make for them. We try to leave that to the store bought, junk food type foods. When I am making them wholesome food, I want wholesome ingredients. Litehouse Ranch Dressing is in the refrigerated section of the grocery store, right where I find our fresh produce. The fresh taste of the dressing comes shining.
This burger is made slightly different. I hate filler in my burgers. I know that traditionally people add bread crumbs or bread soaked in milk. I just can not bring myself to do it. If you like the binder, then by all means, add it in. It will not change the amount of ingredients you add from this recipe.
1lb ground beef
a dash of garlic pouder
5 tablespoons of Litehouse Ranch Dressing
Mix all of the ingredients together
Form into patties
Grill or cook on a stove top. Cooking times will differ depending on size of patties and how well you like them cooked.
