Being the garden is like my special time. I love planting and watering. I even love weeding. What is great is when I can combine my garden with my other passion, crafting. These days, with working from home, and 4 active kids that seem to be everywhere at once, I do not have very much free time. So I am always trying to get the biggest bang for my free time buck.
The Gro Project from Miracle-Gro has fantastic ideas. The Gro Project features several projects to help give you a crafing jump start to incoporate crafts in your garden. One of the fun garden projectsyou can find featured from Miracle-Gro is a ukulele garden. What a pretty way to show off the plants while recycling.
I want to make a toyrarium with the kids. I think that Willow will get the biggest kick out of having her own special terrarium for her “pets” It s a quick and easy project. Using a fish bowl or other glass bowl, a few succulents, Moisture Control Potting Mix and a few toys,
This project comes together quickly. After the kids fill the glass bowl with soil have the kids plants their succlents and get the arranges the way they like them. Then they can add in their toys. It could be little insects, or plastic frogs. Maybe even dinosaurs. Whatever makes it special for your kids. Then it is all set. The kids just need to water occasionally.
Do you do many crafts with your kids that involve the garden?
