Pizza sliders- Tasty Thursday

Joey loves to cook. He helps me in the kitchen at least 4 times a week. When we were at the store today, he came across those little recipe books. While I was taking Serenity to the bathroom ( I swear that child has to tour the public bathroom everywhere we go) Joey was reading the booklet. He found a recipe for pizza sliders. He was insistent on making them completely by himself. So dinner tonight was made by Joey and consisted of pizza sliders, smiley french fries and raw carrots. The sliders were a big hit. So I thought after show off how proud I am of Joey I would share the recipe with everyone.

Pizza Sliders

1 lb ground beef

1/2 tsp basil

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp oregano

1/4 salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/3 cup pizza sauce

2/3 cup mozzarella cheese

8 small dinner rolls

pepperoni slices

Mix ground beef and seasoning in medium bowl until well blended. Shape into 8 patties

Grill over medium heat 4-6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through.

Top each burger evenly with sauce and cheese. Serve burgers on rolls and add pepperoni if desired.
