I have been starting some renovations and makeovers in my house. I love the house where I live, I rent from family and so there is lots of family close by, upstairs and next door. The problem is it a teeny tiny place, with way to many people for the size. It was originally a 2 bedroom with an unfinished basement, that we turned into a 3 bedroom, with 2 pseudo rooms in the basement for the boys. Even still, there are some days, honestly, where it just feels like no matter what we do, there is no getting away from each other, and having just a little bit of space. With the new projects, the goal is to just create that extra feel, that extra space. I am doing simple things like clearing even more clutter, as you can imagine it piles up fast with kids. I am trying new storage ideas. I am also trying to remodel places in my house. I would love to consider sunroom installation.
A sunroom would give us a little it of space. It would also give me a space to enjoy the sun, and an almost outdoor feelings, without having to deal with a strong wind, or the sun too strong, or it being to hot or too cold, or the darn bugs. I get some nasty gnats around here, and of course the spiders, and other creepy crawlers. So a nice room to get all the enjoyment of being outside, but being inside where the family can all hang to together, maybe play games or watch a movie. Or a room to craft, or read, or even work with just a little piece and quiet.
A Champion Patio Room goes up in with a 1/3 of the cost than a regular stick built room, plus is usually completed 60% faster. They offer all season rooms with special glass to keep the room comfortable all year long, plus protect from UV rays, or a screened room, which really allows someone to enjoy the outside. They handle all the permits and with a lifetime warranty on the glass and seal failure, it gives that added piece of mind.
