I have a friend who has been struggling lately because her daughter is living in another state. She is missing her something fierce. Yesterday she got a phone call that her daughter is getting engaged. While she is so happy for her daughter, this means, that the chances of her moving back to the same state as her mom, is next to none. At least for a long time. So I wanted to cheer her up. A quick handmade card on her windshield should bring a smile to her face.
Using BIC Mark-It™ permanent markers I can make a simple, adorable card in no time. Since the markers come in 44 vibrant, long lasting colors, a 36 packs in fine and ultra fine tip and 8 packs of Metallic colors, I can design just about anything. Plus, they are fade-resistant, with low odor and acid free, which is great for scrapbooking, so I can use my markers for all sorts of crafts.
With just a piece of paper and my markers I can make a beautiful picture to brighten someone’s day.
Since I am not great at creative handwriting I use Picmonkey, an online photo editing site, that lets me create text. I choose different fun fonts and moved them around to where I wanted them. Then, since I wanted to be able to color them the way I wanted them, I used a light grey color. I wanted a hand drawn look, even if I can’t actually do the hand drawing.
Then I just colored and traced. I added the colors I liked, even a little snow flake, because it is ridiculously cold out today.
I made my cute Christmas craft in an hour, and most of that time was spent designing the card. If you are able to write neatly, you can create this is 15 minutes. Just think how in 15 minutes you can make someone’s day. Be part of the #BicMerrymarking and this #OceanicBlue creative campaign.
I want to challenge my daughter, my mom, my friend who received this card and to you get creating and design you own cards with BIC® Mark-it™ permanent markers. You can get the booklet of merry marking and a coupon to start marking your own gifts.
