I don’t typically get cold sores so I’ve never used Abreva, but I’ve noticed more ailments the older I get so I’m sure I’m due for one. Good to know there is a great remedy if I ever need it!

It has been many, many years since I’ve had a cold sore. I’ve never tried Abreva before.
I have had cold sores (yuck and ouch), but I only used Abreva once. I was on vacation and did NOT want to deal with the pain of a cold sore, so I tried Abreva. It was ridiculously expensive, as I recall, and didn’t really work. That’s my experience, anyway.

Abreva is the only thing that works for me.
I do get cold sores about once or twice a year. I have tried Abreva and not sure if it quickened the healing process or not. The best remedy for me is to place a white paste toothpaste on the cold sore at night. It will get cakey but this works the fastest for me. An old dentist told me about this.
