My kids love potatoes. They love all kinds. And like most kids, they really love french fries. With the exception of scallop potatoes, my favorite are roasted potatoes and Jimmy loves mashed potatoes. So pretty much we all just love potatoes.
With McCain potatoes, my kids are thrilled as soon as we hit that frozen food section, because they know that is where the french fries and their all time favorite, the smilies are.
The McCain frozen potatoes are a great choice for my family. I know my kids will love them, and I do not feel awful giving it to them. They are trans-fat free, and have 30% or fewer total calories from fat per serving. And they are lower in salt according to the dietary guidelines.
So I know that the kids are eating something that isn’t bad for them, and all the kids know is that it taste great. I can even sneak in sweet potatoes, every now and then, without too much complaint from the kids.
McCain also has roasted potatoes that make a wonderful addition to a holiday meal or when I am in a rush during the week and want to get dinner on the table quick. They taste amazing and even my fussiest eater, Anthony, eats them without complaint, and if you have a fussy eater, you know, that is a huge win.
