Soladey J3X Toothbrush Review and Giveaway - The Spring Mount 6 Pack

Soladey J3X Toothbrush Review and Giveaway (US/CA 10/18)

Back before I had kids, my teeth were great. I only had one cavity my whole life, when I was 12. after 3 pregnancies, and I was pregnant with Serenity, I had 3 cavities. I was shocked, but ok. When I was pregnant with Willow and while I was breastfeeding her, suddenly I developed issues with my teeth. Not only did I end up with 6 more cavities, whenever the dentist would fill a cavity, I still had issues with the tooth. It would ache, or there was a problem with the filling. I even had a tooth break in half, the night before Easter, when Willow was a year old.

I have always brushed my teeth well, used Crest since I was a kid, my mother swore by it, and flossed everyday. But my pregnancies were tough. Serenity and Willow took a lot out of me. I threw up the whole pregnancy, and couldn’t keep many things down. Even my vitamins were thrown up more than they stayed in. And I breastfed Willow for just under 2 years. The dentist said, that all the pregnancies, the trouble with the nutrition during my pregnancies, and the fact that I simply never got enough calcium during or after the pregnacies, contributed a lot to my new teeth problems.

So I have been struggling ever since the broken tooth, to care for my teeth and make sure I do not have any more issues. The dentist said I have to be extra vigilant, because many of my teeth are on the edge of cavities, no matter what I do. So I trying to buy time. As you can imagine, I am not a fan of dental work, because come on, who is. I do not want them messing in my mouth, especially when I am worried that even after they fix it, it just turns into a new problem.

I am always looking for a great way to get my teeth clean and keep them healthy. I have tried a lot of the tooth brushed on the market that swear to clean teeth fantastic and get all the plaque. I have never noticed a real difference in the high-priced brushes or the cheap ones. Until I tried Soladey J3X, an ionic toothbrush.

I was sent the Soladey J3X toothbrush for review and I was excited because it a completely different concept in a toothbrush. Soladey J3X cleans away the plaque and bacteria while brushing , while using little or no tooth paste. It looks like a normal tooth-brush, except at the bottom end, there is a solar panel, like on a calculator. The concept on how it works is very simple.  Light strikes the solar panel near the end of the handle, electrons are generated. These electrons move along the lead wire from the negative pole toward the built-in semiconductor (found at the top of the handle, near the area where the brush head is attached). When light strikes the wet semiconductor, which is composed of titanium oxide, electrons are also generated in a process called photocatalytic action. The plating on the metallic body of the toothbrush is specially processed to help raise the electrical current rate. The electrons generated at the solar panel and the semiconductor, these electrons move to the inside of the mouth through saliva. The double electrons then remove the hydrogen ion within dental plaque, allowing the plaque to break down. As a result, dental plaque is easier to remove, brushing is more effective leading to healthier teeth and gums.

Now with all of that, since it isn’t something you can see to know it is working, the only way to know if to see how your mouth feels. I made a point to brush my teeth for the same amount of time, the same way, not trying extra hard, or less hard, to see how my mouth would feel after brushing, with tooth paste. I noticed right away, my mouth felt much cleaner after each brushing, with no extra work. My teeth are crocked and tightly squeezed together in some places, and it can be hard to get my teeth feeling clean in those areas, unless I focus on it and work hard to make sure all the areas are clean. I didn’t have to try hard to get to it. After just regular brushing, my mouth felt great.

I tried the whole brushing without tooth paste. My teeth felt ok. I mean, yes they felt clean, but my mouth felt dirty, and I felt like my breath was awful, and I would still need mouthwash or something. So I still use my toothpaste. I am sure there are ways around the toothpaste, but it just isn’t something for me.

It comes in adult and child sizes and there are replacement brushes, along with different textures and sizes, so you are not having to buy an entire new toothbrush as you need a new one.

Over all I love my new toothbrush. I am really thrilled with how it works and that when I need to replace the head, I can easily order a new one.
