Need inexpensive mobile hotspot
If you are a mom you know how busy it is running from place to place with your kids. Someone seems to always have a practice here, or a run late from a game, or maybe it is a dentist appointment. If you aren’t a parent, then you know just how busy life can be. For whatever reason, people are always busy.
I am a blogger as my job, so being connected online is very important in my life. I need to be able to connect with clients, check my email, edit a post, or write a post. And times I head to my mom’s, who doesn’t have internet at her house. With a busy life, I need to be able to multitask and take advantage of the time that I have. I spend a lot of time away from home, so I need to take the internet with me. And while I can do some work on my phone, it is not always that easy. It can be hard to research things I need for the post, or to find that email, or to edit the HTML in the post. There are times that only a laptop will do, or at least my iPad for a better screen.
I have had a hot spot in the past, but I wasn’t real thrilled with it. I was locked into a contract, with a much larger amount of GB then I needed, and there wasn’t a smaller plan. There also wasn’t coverage at time, in the places that I needed, even though they said there would be. So I was paying an arm and a leg for something I really didn’t get much dependable use out of.
I was recently contacted by NetZero to try their new NetZero 4G Mobile Broadband Service. I remember that one of my first internet carriers for home use was NetZero, so it is a name I already connect with the internet. I was thrilled to give it a try.
NetZero offers 2 types of mobile broadband service. There is the 4G Mobile Hotspot and the 4G Stick. The mobile hotspot has the ability to accomodate 8 WiFi enabled devices within 150 feet, with a battery life of 6 hours. It retails for
$99.95 $49.98, right now. The 4G Stivk supports one user at a time, and connects in the USB port. It is compatible with Mac and Windows. It retails for $49.95 $24.98. These devices are on sale right now. Both devices offer the same great coverage. There is no contacts, no commitment, no activation, and no overage charges.
The plans are fantastic. It is a very inexpensive mobile hotspot. This is one of my favorite things about the plan. There is the FREE option: which gives you up to 200MB at no charge each month. The Basic Plan is 500MB per month for $9.95. The Pus plan is 1000MB or 1 GB for $19.95. Pro Plan is $34.95 and gives 2GB (2000 MB) and the Platinum plan is $49.95 for 4GB of data usage. All that is required is a NetZero hotspot device.
The device is secure and is encrypted to help keep data safe.Coverage is available in 80 cities and gives you the freedom of having internet anywhere there is coverage. And then you can choose the way to use the data. Customers can choose between Lightspeed, which will conserve data, meaning you can choose a smaller plan, but the connection speed is lower than the other choice. It is best for email and web browsing. Warpspeed will maximize the speed available. This one is also great for Web browsing and email, but is what would be best for video streaming to avoid buffering and stuttering of the videos. The device gives you the ability to switch between the 2 speeds, to choose which is best to use at what time.
If you are looking for a way to save money but stay connected to the internet, this is the best option I have found. Also, with the holiday season coming up fast, this would make a fantastic present, or a much cheaper option for those tablets that require an internet service to get online. Imagine the amount of money you can save compared to a long term- usually 2 years for their hotspot connection with the cell phone providers, not even considering the insane price they charge for their device. This is a no commitment, no extra fees plan that can fit into any budget, even a free one.
I was sent a mobile hot spot and free service from NetZero as a NetZero ambassador. Regardless, all opinions and thoughts are my own.
