Ingredients:
Waffles, homemade or frozen. This recipe can also be done on French toast or pancakes
Peanut butter
Chocolate Chips
Whip Cream
After making the waffles, spread the peanut butter on. This works best while warm so the peanut butter melts and becomes gooey. Place as many chocolate chips as desired. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
As I am Nutrisystem right now I used low fat, multi grain waffles and only ate 1 waffle. Believe me, they are so rich and filling one is enough to make you feel full and satisfied. AND then it fits into any calorie budget, as a special treat.
1 Eggo low fat multigrain waffle: 70 calories
1 tablespoon of Peanut butter: 80 calories
1 teaspoon of chocolate chips ( I do not even use a whole teaspoon, only about 6 chips) 70 Calories
2 tablespoons of whip cream: 15 calories
Bringing this dish to: 235 calories, (even less withe less chips) packed with whole grains and protein.
Enjoy

Those looks pretty good. We usually make chocolate chip pancakes every once in a while here. YUMMY!

Wow that looks awesome! : )
Interesting. I have never tried peanut butter on waffles. I use Eggo high fiber waffles all the time… I may just try this.
I don’t really like waffles, but those look delicious.
