iMitts Review- Holiday Gift Guide

Knit Outta The Box recently sent me their iMitts to review. iMitts are called the texting mittens. I was really excite to try them. For one, they are beautiful and they are made of super yummy Alpaca yarn. With the winter weather coming, I need to wear gloves but I almost never do. It is such a pain with my phone. I live by my iPhone and would be lost without it. With mittens or gloves on, I can not text, access the apps, open it or even answer a phone call. But even if you do not have an iPhone. Think about using just about any phone or electronic.

With gloves or mittens, you can not touch the keys and the touch screen will not read your touch.

That is what makes these mittens special. The index finger and the thumb is open. It is the perfect design for anyone who needs to wear something on their hands, but not fingerless mittens, but still wants to be able to work their phone or mp3 player. Another thing that makes these mittens so special is that they are hand-knitted by a woman’s cooperative, high in the Andean Mountains of South America and fair labor practices are strictly enforced.

These mittens would be a great gift for anyone who needs practical, warm, soft, functional, but very stylish mittens.

While I did receive a free pair of iMitts to facilitate my review, all opinions are my own and was not influenced in any way.

The Alpaca is so soft on my hands. I love not having to take the mitts of to text

  2. How nice! I love alpaca–soft! I have seen the “iPad” gloves, but I think I would like the teeny opening even better.
